Departmentally Paid Student Employees

While Classes Are In Session It is recommended that full time students not work more than 20 hours a week. **
Breaks* and Summer It is recommended that the student employees do not exceed 40 hours a week. 


*The Break periods are Winter Break and Spring Break.

**Student employees should not work 40 hours per week on a regular basis. Individuals regularly working 40 hours per week are subject to FICA withholdings and should be hired on a staff payroll level.
