CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study)

CAGS candidates must hold a master's degree or its academic equivalent from an accredited institution. A minimum of seven-and-a-half semester courses (30 credits) and approval of the assigned advisor are required for the CAGS. A program may require additional coursework.

CAGS candidates must file a formal application for a departmental comprehensive examination with the department chairman and faculty advisor. The examination must be completed successfully.
