Donald D. Durrell Summer Reading and Writing Clinic
This four-week summer program serves a dual purpose: it provides elementary-school students who are at least two years behind in reading and writing intensive, explicit, and individualized instruction, and it also serve as a practicum experience for graduate degree students and in-service teaches who wish to deepen their understanding and improve their teaching of struggling readers and writers. Tutors are credentialed classroom teachers working under the direct supervision of School of Education faculty.
