- Ends: 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017
How can we create professional learning experiences that show teachers how to help students develop strong literacy skills across a range of disciplines? In this talk Dr. Christina Dobbs and a panel of content-area practitioners will explore how professional learning can better support teachers who seek to design, implement, and refine disciplinary literacy practices in their schools.
Dr. Dobbs is the co-author with Jacy Ippolito and Megin Charner-Laird of the new book, Disciplinary Literacy: A Framework for Collaborative Professional Learning.
Free event and open to all--students, faculty/staff, and alumni.
