Join the BU School of Education community for Fall Convocation 2013. Fall Convocation is an annual event held at the beginning of the year to bring the School of Education community (faculty, staff, students, and alumni) together for a discussion about pressing education issues. This year’s Fall Convocation will be a debate featuring the candidates running for mayor for the city of Boston. The questions will focus on education in the city of Boston. The event will consist of a student panel, town hall, and a meet and greet with the candidates. The event is free and open to the BU community at-large, as well as the general public. BU community members will have priority access to tickets. Join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter: Current students will be able to have their voice heard through social media. Students should post their questions on the event wall below, or tweet questions @BU_SED using #SEDDebate

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students at the School of Education benefit from the community feel of a small school along with the resources of a large university. Our students are in the field in both urban and suburban schools as early as their first year at SED.

Graduate Students

Talented graduate students from around the world prepare to become teachers, counselors, administrators, and more in as little as one year at the School of Education. Our students engage in diverse aspects of education both in the classroom and the field.
