High School Lesson

The Alamo: Documenting Courage

Three learning objectives converge in this lesson. Students learn about the historical events that took place at the Alamo and consider their impact on American History. They also learn about the importance of primary source documents in historical research. Finally, the students are provided with an opportunity to examine and internalize the virtue of courage. The lesson is based on the Internalizing Virtue Framework.
