Deborah Farmer Kris  

 

Deborah Farmer Kris holds degrees from Boston University in both English Literature and Elementary Education. She has worked as an adjunct faculty member at Boston University, teaching student teachers, and as a freelance writer for the Character Education Partnership's National Schools of Character Program. As an associate of the CAEC, she writes curriculum and
consults with schools and school districts seeking to integrate character education. She has worked as a teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels as well as a charter school administrator, and currently works
as a middle school English teacher. She lives in Maplewood, New Jersey.
