Weekday Visits

Interested in a one-on-one meeting with a member of the School of Education?  Want to have lunch in a Dining Hall or attend class with a student?

When you visit the School of Education, you will have the chance to discuss academic programs and educational opportunities, ask questions, and tour the School of Education. You may also attend class and enjoy lunch in the dining hall with a current SED Dean’s Host.Appointments can be made by contacting the Student Services office at sedstdt@bu.edu or 617-353-3177 and identifying yourself as a prospective student.

If you are considering transferring to the School of Education from another university, you can make an appointment for a preliminary evaluation of your transfer credit.  Please bring a copy of your unofficial transcript with you to the meeting.

You can also learn about all we have to offer by attending one of our Open Houses throughout the year. At our Open Houses, you will meet faculty, deans, and current students, and discover what it is like to be part of the SED community.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students at the School of Education benefit from the community feel of a small school along with the resources of a large university. Our students are in the field in both urban and suburban schools as early as their first year at SED.

Graduate Students

Talented graduate students from around the world prepare to become teachers, counselors, administrators, and more in as little as one year at the School of Education. Our students engage in diverse aspects of education both in the classroom and the field.
