Part-Time Students

Most programs at the Boston University School of Education lend themselves to part-time study so that you can keep your day job and still experience the same academic rewards that most other schools only reserve for full-time students. With the exception of student teaching and field placements, a significant portion of graduate courses take place during the late afternoon and evening hours or during the summer term.

The Part-Time Student’s Tuition Advantage

Graduate study at Boston University can be surprisingly affordable. The School recognizes that educators continue to update their skills through the course of their careers and therefore offers a reduced tuition rate for all graduate students who enroll part-time in SED courses offered in late afternoon/evening or during the summer term.
