Meet & Contact

Can I schedule an appointment to talk about admission?

You may schedule an appointment with an admissions representative through our office. Admissions representatives can give you a general overview of your programs of interest as well as share information about BU, the application process, and financial assistance options. To schedule a meeting please send an e-mail to sedgrad@bu.edu.

If your questions are very program specific, it would also be a good idea to schedule an appointment with the faculty contact for your program (found on the program’s webpage).

Can I sit in on a class?

Our Graduate Assistant will be happy to help you coordinate a class visit. Class visits are possible at the discretion of the faculty member teaching the class you are interested in visiting. If you are interested in sit in on a class please send an e-mail to sedgrad@bu.edu with your full name, three classes of your interest and the date you would like to visit and we’ll do our best to accommodate you in one of these classes.

Where are you located/where should I come for a meeting with admissions?

We are located at 2 Silber Way (also known as 2 Sherborn Street), Room 124, Boston, MA 02215 on the Charles River Campus. You can find directions to the School of Education at http://www.bu.edu/sed/directions.htm.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students at the School of Education benefit from the community feel of a small school along with the resources of a large university. Our students are in the field in both urban and suburban schools as early as their first year at SED.

Graduate Students

Talented graduate students from around the world prepare to become teachers, counselors, administrators, and more in as little as one year at the School of Education. Our students engage in diverse aspects of education both in the classroom and the field.
