Professor Rossetti Serves on Inclusion Task Force for the City of Boston

Zachary RossettiIn the Fall of 2013, Professor Zachary Rossetti was selected as a member of the Inclusion Task Force of The School Committee of the City of Boston. “Recognizing the value and importance of inclusive education, the Boston School Committee established the Inclusion Task Force in September, 2013.”

The purpose of the Inclusion Task Force is to provide guidance to the School Committee, the Superintendent, and Boston Public Schools (BPS) on strategic planning around the expansion of inclusive opportunities and practices in BPS. The Task Force held its first meeting on November 7th, 2013.

Professor Rossetti’s appointment is for the 2013-2014 school year. He is working on the Ensuring Quality Options sub-committee, which aims to identify standards and indicators of high quality inclusive education practices.
