Professor Zook’s reflection art to be featured as a multi-media Event in Kraków, Poland

During his upcoming teaching and research overseas, Professor’s Zook will give a special multi-media presentation based on his “Earth Gazes Back” reflection photo series at the Botanical Garden Festival in Kraków, Poland on June 6th.  Following a brief lecture, the show will feature a projected series of his unique window reflections accompanied by selected jazz and classical pieces.  While principally a scientist specializing in global ecology and science education at SED, Professor Zook is a strong advocate of interdisciplinary learning, especially involving art and science, as previously highlighted in BU’s Research magazine.

In the last year, several hundred people in Kraków visited his reflection collection at the Botanical Garden, and many others on the Boston University campus at the George Sherman Union Gallery and the Rubin-Frankel art gallery at the Hillel House.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students at the School of Education benefit from the community feel of a small school along with the resources of a large university. Our students are in the field in both urban and suburban schools as early as their first year at SED.

Graduate Students

Talented graduate students from around the world prepare to become teachers, counselors, administrators, and more in as little as one year at the School of Education. Our students engage in diverse aspects of education both in the classroom and the field.
