Associate Dean Solberg to Deliver Keynote Presentation at CTE Works! Conference

Associate Dean of Research V. Scott Solberg will be delivering the keynote presentation at CTE Works! A Minnesota Summit on Excellence in Career Technical Education in Plymouth, Minnesota.

CTE Works! is a collaborative technical education conference hosted by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, and the Minnesota Department of Education. The conference will be held at the Crown Plaza West in Plymouth, MN on November 15th, 2012.

Associate Dean Solberg will be delivering the keynote address: “Individualized Student Learning Plans in CTE.” Solberg’s presentation centers around his research and its relation to career technical education. Solberg’s research focuses on career development for youth including how to promote optimal youth development and college and career readiness through the use of individualized learning plans and resiliency-based curriculum.
