Makechnie Computer Lab
Located in Room SAR 236, the Computer Lab consists of 21 PCs and one instructor station. All computers run Windows XP, Microsoft, Office 2010, Firefox, SPSS and some curriculum-related software. The computers connect to the two duplex laser printers in the Makechnie Study Center in Room 237.
Instructors:
A number of instructors use the lab to supplement classroom teaching. The video projection system lets you display images from your computer on a projection screen visible to the entire computer lab. You may request to have special curriculum software installed by the IT staff. To request software installation, e-mail the IT department. To reserve the lab, call the Makechnie Study Center front desk at 617-353-4201.
Students:
When the lab is not being used as a classroom, Sargent students may use the computers for word processing, e-mail, Blackboard/CourseInfo and other course-related work. There are also 10 computers and two laser printers in the Makechnie Study Center (Room 237) for student use.
