What are the main functions of Research Administration/Grants?

  • Provide support in pre- and post-award procedures
  • Process grant proposals, i.e., budgets, internal documents, electronic applications, application review, etc.
  • Reconcile and project for all grants
  • Approve all grant related travel reimbursement expenses and approve shopping carts
  • Monitor/track grant awards and applications
  • Provide financial documentation for progress/annual/final reports
  • Process payroll, salary adjustments, and journal entries
  • Prepare and approve subcontract invoices
  • Oversee the Effort Reporting process
  • Work with OSP and PAFO daily
  • Order all research related supplies
  • Reconcile all research related accounts and expenses as well as IDC accounts
