News & Notes
Staff Update
This year has brought many changes to our staff. In August we said good bye to Mark LaFrance, who had been the Director of Development and Alumni Relations here at Sargent for many years. We wish Mark luck in his new position at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.
Anne Aufhammer, Director of Development and Alumni Relations
Greetings Sargent alumni! I joined Sargent College in early October 2006, and am delighted to be part of such an interesting and inspiring College at Boston University. In the coming months, I will be traveling around the country to meet as many of you as possible, so that I may become better acquainted with the needs and wishes of our already strong and committed alumni. I greatly look forward to collaborating with the entire Sargent community in building on the successes of the past to secure a vibrant future for the College.
Liz Matejczyk, Development and Alumni Officer
I started my time here at Sargent just before Reunion 2006. I was so happy to meet many of you and take part in the spirited luncheon. I hope to meet many more of you at this year’s luncheon or one of our other many events!

The day has finally come that I must bid you farewell. While I will greatly miss Sargent College and all of its wonderful alumni, I look forward to completing my Masters degree in education. I will take the inspiration and drive you have taught me over these past few years and apply that “Sargent spirit” as I start my new teaching career in January, as a student teacher at Cambridge Rindge& Latin School.
