Community Challenges: Mobility Matters (Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy)

Through the Aphasia Community Resource Center, we offer a group treatment program to people who have had a stroke and would like to improve their ability to access the community. The group will focus on increasing participation in community activities by addressing issues such as crossing busy streets, maneuvering through doorways, and carrying and manipulating objects. The final session will consist of a group community outing to a neighboring restaurant. This will allow you the opportunity to use the skills you've learned to enhance community participation.
