Scholarship Information
Dear Eligible Scholarship Recipient,
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to apply for the “Cathi A. Thomas Award of Excellence and Merit.” This award was established by Dr. Ernest and Rae Selig on December 15, 2005. I am grateful for Dr. and Mrs. Selig’s vision to ensure that healthcare professionals receive the most current and advanced information in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. It is our hope that those involved in the direct care of individuals with movement disorders will benefit from this award.
This award provides annual scholarships to attend a conference on Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. This year, five scholarships of 300 dollars each will be awarded to attend the conference, A Parkinson’s Disease Seminar for Healthcare Professionals: Evidence-Based Concepts and Current Treatment Approaches. This conference will be held on March 26-28th, 2009 at Boston University Charles River Campus.
Sincerely yours,
