Jeffry A. Coady
Assistant Professor of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences
BA, University of Rhode Island; MA, PhD, University of Rochester; NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship, University of Wisconsin—Madison. Dr. Coady joined the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences in 2004. His research interests include language development, speech perception, and phonological processing in children developing language typically and children with Specific Language Impairments (SLI). His current research examines the relationship between phonological development and vocabulary learning. Dr. Coady’s work is funded by NIDCD.

Heather Levin
BA, McGill University. Heather is currently in her second year in the Boston University Speech Language Pathology Master’s program. Her research interests include atypical language development and its relation to other processing skills. She is currently working on a Master’s thesis examining the visual processing of semantic information in children with and without Specific Language Impairments (SLI). Her undergraduate degree is in Linguistics with a minor in Social Studies of Medicine.
