The Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Research Colloquium Series presents the Final Fall 2019 Seminar by Tiffany P. Hogan, PhD, CCC-SLP.

Dr. Hogan is a Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions and Director of the Speech and Language Literacy Lab, also known as the SAiL Lab. Research in the SAiL Lab explores ways to improve diagnosis and treatment for children with dyslexia, developmental language disorders, and speech sound disorders. Her team studies the genetic, neurologic, and behavioral links between oral and written language development, with a focus on co-morbid speech, language, and literacy disorders.

Dr. Hogan is also committed to implementation science and translating research to practice. She runs a podcast called SeeHearSpeak, where she hosts conversations on reading, language, and speech with clinicians, educators, scholars, students, and parents.

She received her Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas and completed her B.S. and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Missouri.
