Work Study

Graduate students who demonstrate financial need (determined by the FAFSA) and are taking at least 6 credits/semester are eligible to receive Federal Work-Study. Students interested in receiving work-study for the academic year may apply for it when they submit the BU Sargent College Graduate Application for Financial Assistance. Continuing students may apply for work-study when the Continuing Student Financial Assistance Application is submitted March 1.

There is a limited amount of summer work-study funds available to graduate students. Summer work-study application forms are available in the Academic Services Center (Room 207 at Sargent College) and in the Graduate Financial Aid Office (Room 217). These forms are available each year at the end of January. You may also download the form below.

Please complete the form and leave it in the Graduate Financial Aid Office or the SASS Office.

Work-study job listings can be found for the upcoming semester online at the Boston University Student Employment Office under the tab “for Jobs”.
