The combined BS/MS program includes 167 credits overall with 128 for the baccalaureate (BS) degree and 39 for the MS degree.
To follow this accelerated program, you must have achieved the following at the end of the fall semester of your junior year:
- A minimum GPA of 3.6 (or better) overall and a GPA of 3.75 (or better) in the six specified Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences courses.
- Completion of all of the natural science requirements and both of the required psychology courses
- Completion of a minimum of 54 credits earned at Boston University
Before taking any graduate-level courses (SH700 and above), you must have completed three full years of undergraduate study and at least 96 credits.
You will receive your Bachelor’s degree in May of your senior year. In the spring of your senior year, you’ll be considered a full-time graduate student and must meet all MS graduate program requirements.
Junior spring/Senior fall Students may elect to return to the standard undergraduate program at any time during this period.
