With a master’s degree in nutrition and successful completion of your dietetic internship, you’ll be eligible to take the ADA Registration Examination to receive your Registered Dietitian credential. Then you can expect to pursue a career in a clinical environment such as medical and surgical services of hospitals, outpatient clinics, cardiac rehabilitation centers, and private practices. You might also work in the fitness/wellness or pharmaceutical industries, as a consultant to a professional sports team, corporation, or restaurant, or in the field of public health.
