Master of Science Degree Program

This program offers qualified graduates of the undergraduate program in rehabilitation and human services the opportunity to earn their MS in Rehabilitation Counseling immediately following graduation. This program was ranked fifth among rehabilitation counseling graduate programs in the 2006 U.S. News and World Report.

Students apply for admission to the program during the senior year. Following acceptance into this program, graduates of the department’s bachelor of science program in rehabilitation and human services may petition to waive 6 of the required 48 credits for graduation with an MS degree, or 6 of the 52–56 credits required for a specialization program. Completing these credits over two years, students are eligible to take the certification examination in April of their last semester of the MS program.

  • We are currently not accepting students into the Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Human Services program pending curricular revisions.
