John K. Gould has been a doctoral student in the Language Science Laboratory at Boston University Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences since 2003. He is currently studying the effects of aging on the formation of inferences in language processing. After earning his MS from Emerson College in 1997, he was a practicing speech-language pathologist specializing in geriatric populations for four years. He also conducted research as a technical assistant in the Speech and Hearing Laboratory at MIT. John has extensive training in linguistics and language education.
