Julie Bertram

Prior to coming to the Language Science Lab, Julie worked as a Reading Therapist in the Reading Disabilities Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.  While there, she assessed and treated children and adults diagnosed with dyslexia.  In addition, she coordinated the Children’s After School Tutoring Program and was an Instructor and Supervisor in the Unit’s Orton-Gillingham Teacher Training Program. She has worked as a tutor in the Newburyport, MA school system and served as director of the Scottish Rite Masonic Learning Center in Lowell, MA. She also maintained a private tutoring practice. Julie received her M.S. Ed. in Language and Literacy from Simmons College.
