Sara Brown

Clinical Associate Professor of Athletic Training; Director, Athletic Training Program

BS, Miami University; MS, University of Arizona. Sara Brown serves as the director of the athletic training program and co-director of the Accelerated Athletic Training/Doctor of Physical Therapy program. As a past president and board member of the Board of Certification and newly appointed chair of the Education Council of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Ms. Brown’s contributions to the athletic training profession are recognized on the national level. In 2008, she was recognized as the Athletic Trainers’ of Massachusetts Athletic Trainer of the Year.

A recipient of the Whitney R. Powers Teaching Excellence Award and co-author of the text Evaluation of Orthopedic and Athletic Injuries, Ms. Brown teaches in the area of orthopedics.
