BU Central has quickly become one of Boston's premiere music and comedy clubs. It has hosted some of entertainment's elite including: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Ambulance LTD, We Are Scientists, Kay Hanley, 7L & Esoteric, Mike Birbiglia, Pete Francis of Dispatch, Gary Gulman, and Danny Jamieson & Melinda Stolp, stars of MTV’s The Real World - Austin.
BU Central continues its commitment to great music, bringing to the stage some of music's hottest up and coming artists such as: matt pond PA, Averi, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Jordan Knight, The Lloyd Dobler Effect, Ben Lee, Draw The Line, Michael Tolcher, Tristan Prettyman, The Alternate Routes, and hellogoodbye!

BU Central provides both artist and audience with high-quality staging, sound, and lights, making it one of the most intimate rooms in the city in which to experience a show. A 400-person capacity room, the layout gives the audience a feeling of intimacy and closeness to a band or comedian. Experiencing your favorite artist in this setting will leave you with a feeling that you have just witnessed something special.
Our commitment to providing the best entertainment experience for students is foremost. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night BU Central opens its doors to members of the campus community. All of our entertainment is free to Boston University students with a BU ID.
