New online student organization community site launches!

Thanks for your patience as we finalized the new You Do @ BU online student organization community. We are happy to announce that the system is up and running! We are now ready to accept group Re-Registrations for the 2009 - 2010 school year. So forward this on to your incoming group officers ASAP!
Please be advised that ALL groups must complete re-registration by 5pm on Sunday, May 31st 2009 in order to be eligible to program or receive funding for the '09 - '10 school year. Groups not re-registered by May 31st will be required to submit a New Group Proposal in September if they still desire to be active on the BU campus next year.
First things first, to re-register you're going to need to collect some information. Do you know the BU email addresses of all of your 4 Executive Board Officers AND your Advisor (Advisor info is required)? You'll be adding them to their various positions within your organization. Second, have a description of your organization ready to put into the system. After your registration is completed, you will also be able to upload photos and video to really show what your group is all about. As soon as your registration is complete, everyone at BU will have the ability to view your group's page and contact you for more information. So, be ready to say exciting things about your group, it's mission, and the great things you have planned for next year.
Also, you will need to upload an electronic copy of your group's constitution or governing documents. Don't have it handy? The system will provide you with a copy of a sample document that you can change to use for your organization.
Unfortunately, there is still one little step in re-registering that still requires paper. Please make sure that you download and complete the Signature Sheet, and then submit it to the SAO Reception Desk at 1 University Road. Your group's registration will not be considered complete until we have received it.
This might sound like a lot if you're doing it for the first time, but fear not! You don't have to finish your re-registration all in one shot. You can save what you've worked on and go back and submit your completed registration later!
Lastly, this is a new system for all of us, and we'll all be learning the best way to use it together. Please gather your patience and have ample supplies of flexibility as we begin to build this online community.
