Isadora was born and raised in Paris, France, and moved to the United States to attend high school here. She obtained a BA in Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a French major equivalency in French literature from the University of Rhode Island and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interests include the relation between psychoanalysis and 19th century literature, and the intersections between literary theory and cinema.
