Constance Vottero is a third-year Ph.D. student in French Language and Literature at Boston University. She is from Lyon, in France, and is now serving as a Teaching Fellow in French.

Her research focuses on cultural and postcolonial studies as well as digital humanities. She is particularly interested in the influences and dialogues between Afro- descendant writers across the Atlantic: how they read each other but also how they are being read and received in their respective academic and editorial realms.
