Kristen did her undergraduate work in French Language and Literature at Nazareth College of Rochester and recently received her MA from Boston College, where she was a Teaching Fellow.  Kristen’s academic interests include: identity and integration of North African and Caribbean immigrants into France, citizenship in the Enlightenment and the Revolution, gender in terms of cultural identity, and the works of Diome and Beyala.
