Alexis hails from Mexico and did his undergraduate work in Linguistics at Universidad de Colima.  His further studies brought him to the US, specifically to the University of Rhode Island, where he received his Master’s in Hispanic Studies.  His interests lie in Latin American literature, which he wishes to explore and further appreciate aesthetically, socially, and historically.
