Background

Tom is currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on the intersection between science and the works of certain French authors of the 19th and 20th centuries. While pursuing his studies, he also continues to practice law as Corporate Counsel for The MathWorks, Inc., the maker of MATLAB and Simulink technical computing software. His legal publications, focusing on intellectual property law, have appeared in the Mississippi Law Journal, IDEA, and the Journal of Intellectual Property Law, among others. His work has also been republished in Thomson’s annual anthology of intellectual property law
