Monique Roy Begins Career at Harvard

Monique Roy, a 2018 PhD graduate of our French Language & Literature program, will soon take up a position as the Allston Burr Resident Dean of Pforzheimer House & Assistant Dean of Harvard College, at Harvard University. She will also be a Lecturer in Romance Languages & Literatures at Harvard. Speaking about her new job, Monique says:

I am thrilled to be the next Resident Dean of Pforzheimer (Pfoho) House at Harvard University. My time here at BU (as a student, teaching fellow and graduate resident assistant) has prepared me well for this role, which will include advising, teaching and residential responsibilities. In addition to my advising and administrative roles, I will be a lecturer (French) in Romance Languages and Literatures. My wife Julia and I will be moving to Pforzheimer at the end of July – although we are sad to be leaving our friends and wonderful campus community here at BU, we are not going too far – and we are excited to be embarking on new adventures in another vibrant community of students, faculty and staff!

Congratulations, Monique!
