BA, Drew University
MA, Columbia University

Background

At Boston University, Erin Lamm continues to pursue her interest in twenty-first century French cinema.  Her research interests focus on the relationship between gender and sexuality in nineteenth- and twentieth-century French literature and twenty-first century Francophone literature. Her article,”La force féminine dans Lettres d’une Péruvienne et Gigi” is scheduled to appear in L’Érudit Franco-Espagnol in volume 4, December, 2013. While teaching she strives to integrate authentic French materials into the classroom through her use of technology (Skype, Youtube clips, French news and films) and to develop strategies to make these materials accessible to first-time learners of French. She has also worked on the 2012 and 2013 Tournées Film festivals.
