Davina Mattox, a French native, pursued her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Oregon. She holds a Master’s in Romance Languages (French and Spanish) and a Master’s in Education with a teaching certification in French, Spanish and English as a second language. She taught a variety of French language and culture courses for the Department of Romance Languages at the University of Oregon for five years; she also has taught at the secondary school level. Her interests center on foreign language pedagogy, teacher training, teaching through technology, Francophone comic books and French cinéma.
