Research
Professor Kleiman teaches courses on medieval French literature and culture. Her research interests include narrative, written cultures, figures of authority, historiography, psychoanalysis and literature, and intellectual history. She has a particular interest in tropes of betrayal in literature. At present, she is working on a book manuscript entitled Traitor, Author, Text.
