Research Administration Offices
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) on the Charles River Campus (CRC) and the Office of Research Administration on the Medical Campus help faculty secure and administer external grants and contracts for their research and training projects. Located at 25 Buick Street, the Office of Sponsored Programs on the Charles River Campus offers extensive resources and services to faculty who are in the process of identifying outside sponsors, preparing grant proposals, and managing externally-funded projects.

The Office of Research Compliance manages the RREACH Programs (Research Responsibility & Ethics: Awareness, Coordination & Help) to provide coordinated information as to programs that oversee the protection of animals and humans in research and the health and safety of the laboratory and researchers.

Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations
The Office of Corporate and Foundations Relations in the University's Development Office works to obtain private financial support from corporations and foundations for high-priority University projects and programs.
Office of Technology Transfer
Part of the Community Technology Fund, the Office of Technology Transfer helps the University's faculty and staff identify, protect, and license promising intellectual property that results from research conducted at the two campuses and at Boston Medical Center. The University's particular strengths in the fields of medicine, engineering, computer science and photonics enable BU to be the source of numerous technologies, and indeed, the Office of Technology Transfer receives disclosures for approximately 80 new technologies a year.
BU - BUMC Research Resources
This website is a database that helps identify investigators who are studying various research topics using a variety of research methods and equipment within the BU-BMC family. A major goal is to stimulate collaboration among investigators and to aid in developing collaborative research programs. Students will also find this site useful in their search for research expertise and opportunities. You can search by research topic, investigator, funding agency (federal, foundation, corporate, etc), equipment and/or technique. You can also search for individuals who do not necessarily have funded research projects but who have self-identified an interest in a particular topic.

The Electronic Industrial Mentoring Network for Women in Engineering and Science, pairs women who are studying engineering or science with professional scientists and engineers working in industry, helping them form e-mail based mentoring relationships.
