Digitized Landscapes and 3D Visualizations Workshop

How can we craft 3D landscapes that allow users to move through space and time?

Join us for this interdisciplinary event. We'll be discussing how to craft 3-D landscapes that users can change to reflect different points of view as well as changing conditions and circumstances over time. The first hour will be devoted to brief presentations of specific projects. The second hour will comprise an open discussion of the tools and applications needed to develop each project's potential.

On hand to offer feedback and advice on next steps will be:
Andrei Lapets, Associate Director for Research Development, Hariri Institute for Computing at Boston University
Frederick Joossens, Hariri Institute for Computing at Boston University
Dietmar Offenhuber, Coordinator, MFA Information Design and Visualization at Northeastern University
Magy Seif El-Nasr, Director of Game Educational Programs and Research College of Arts, Media, and Design and Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University
Alessandro Canossa, Associate Professor, Coordinator of Graduate Studies Game Science Design, College of Arts, Media, and Design at Northeastern University
