- Technology DevelopmentFour core groups in the Office of Technology Development work together to promote the commercialization of technologies arising from BU research:
- 1 Translational Research & Corporate RelationsSupports faculty engaged in translational research programs and facilitates collaborations with industry.
- 2 Technology Transfer Protects intellectual property, markets new technologies, and negotiates licenses with industry or faculty start-ups.
- 3 New Ventures Provides advice, guidance, and support to those in the BU community exploring the possibility of starting a new company.
- 4 Business Incubation Offers early-stage companies state-of-the-art office space, laboratories, and a host of support services for launching new technology ventures.
