Training Introduction to LASC/LACF Training Resources
The Laboratory Animal Science Center (LASC) and Laboratoy Animal Care Facility (LACF) at Boston University provides Boston University personnel working with animals with the following information and resources relating to their duties of animal care and use.
Training Services
LASC offers technical skills and services by our Veterinary Trainer and Veterinary Services Staff for training and demonstration. To coordinate a customize training session in a group or individual basis on any animal procedures followed by wet lab, contact our Veterinary Trainer Ranjini Abraham, DVM

- LASC New Researcher Orientation with Facility Tours (Monthly)
- Herpes B Virus/ Working Safely with NHP and Zoonosis (Monthly)
- Basic Rodent Handling, Injection techniques and Euthanasia methods. Hands-on (Monthly)
- Rodent Survival Surgery/ Aseptic Technique Lecture and Wet lab( Monthly )
- Rodent sexing, weaning and breeding (As needed)
