Emergency Planning and Response
Overview
The Office of Emergency Planning and Response (OEPR) is responsible for the maintenance, review, and revision to the University's Emergency Response Plans. The OEPR also provides recommendations related to emergency management planning, training, and response coordination to the Offices of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS), Facilities Management and Planning, BUMC Public Safety, BU Police Department, and members of the Emergency Response Team. In addition, the OEPR will participate in the development and implementation of new emergency response plans, risk reduction initiatives, risk prevention measures and serve as a liaison to local, state, and federal emergency management agencies.
