BU Today announced, March 1, 2013, that Jonathan Klawans has been promoted to full professor. Klawans is a leading scholar on ancient Judaism, and teaches courses on subjects ranging from the Hebrew Bible to the Dead Sea Scrolls to ancient Jewish history. His most recent book is Josephus and the Theologies of Ancient Judaism.
