The deadline for January 2019 Graduates to submit an application to pick up their diploma is January 7, 2019. We will only produce diplomas for students who have been made an ‘Official Graduate’ by their school or college. Students are responsible for verifying their Official graduation status with their college prior to the deadline.
If you submitted a pick-up request, under no circumstances will the diploma be mailed; you must pick-up your diploma at the Registrar’s Office: 881 Commonwealth Ave, 2nd floor. In order for someone else to pick-up your diploma on your behalf, they must either bring a signed authorization letter from you, or you can send them an authorization email from your BU email address allowing the release of your diploma. Diplomas will only be released to students who have settled all University financial obligations.
January 2019 Graduates who do not submit an application to pick-up their diploma will have it mailed (please see mailing schedule). Diplomas will only be mailed to Official graduates who have settled all University Financial Obligations and have provided a diploma mailing address. For students who do not provide a diploma mailing address and/or have financial hold(s), their diploma will be sent to the Office of the University Registrar’s Office at the end of March.
THIS OPTION IS UNAVAILABLE FOR STH AND LAW STUDENTS DUE TO THE TIMING OF THE GRADUATION APPLICATION REVIEW.
ALL SDM STUDENTS WILL HAVE THEIR DIPLOMA ORDERED FOR PICK UP. Please update your diploma mailing address if you prefer to have the diploma mailed.
January Graduates may request to pick up a diploma on or after January 25, 2019 at the Office of the University Registrar. The September Diploma Pick-Up Request form must be submitted by January 7, 2019 end-of-day.
