The Recycling Cafe

Every Monday from 11 - 3pm at the GSU Link (lobby of the George Sherman Building), we have a table set up where people can recycling extraneous objects such as lightbulbs, small electronics and batteries. We also provide free coffee to anyone who brings their own mug or thermos. The purpose of this station is to provide students, faculty and staff with a place to recycle objects that currently don't have recycling locations on campus. It's also a way to promote awareness of sustainable efforts on campus, and encourage students to become active in environmental issues.

Where can I get a Boston University Travel Mug?

I'm sure many of you have seen the new, very fashionable sustaniblity@BU mugs around campus. These were handed out at SPLASH in the fall to incoming freshman, however we have a few on our hands that we will be handing out throughout the semester. We won't have enough to give to everybody, so we strongly encourage students to invest in their mug! Not only are they sleek and durable, but you can help reduce the amount of paper cups that are wasted on campus everyday. Thermoses and travel mugs range in price from 10 - 25$, and can be found at Starbucks, CVS, Espresso Royale, Campus Convenience and many more places.
