Description: Join the different environmental groups to celebrate America Recycles Day on Marsh Plaza! Bring recyclables for the raffle with great prizes!

ARD: Recycled Film Fest
When: November 13, 2009, 7pm - 10pm
Where: COM 101
Description: After America Recycles Day, we will be having a mini-film festival featuring independent documentaries about enviornmental issues:

7pm:
Trashed (20min): Trashed is a short documentary that focuses on North America's largest growing business: The Garbage Industry!
A Recycled Life (36min): This documentary follows the lives of the thousands of families that live and work the Guatemala City Garbage Dump, the largest dump in Central America.

8pm:
Addicted to Plastic (86 min): Addicted to Plastic is a poignant documentary that investigates what we actually know about plastic, its toxic legacy, and solutions to the pollution.

Description: Join student groups October 23, 2009 on Marsh Plaza to stand up and voice your opinion on climate change! Register as an individual or as part of a student group at http://sites.google.com/site/bostonuniversity350.

Student groups of five or more members are eligible to enter the 350 Poster Contest, with a grand prize of $200.

Description: We will have a booth at SPLASH on Nickerson Field, along with other green student groups and organizations. We will be giving out information on recycling and free recycling bags. For more information, visit the SAO website.

Description: In honor of Earth Day on April 20th, Boston University is dedicating the entire week to celebrating. There will be fun eco-friendly and sustainable activities, raffles with great prizes, free food, music and much much more!

BYOM To the GSU/Recycle at the GSU
When: Various Fridays, 10 - 3pm
Where: GSU Link
Description: On Fridays we bring recycling to you at the GSU Link! We will have recycling bins for electronics, batteries, ink cartridges, brita filters and more! Plus, on certain days if you bring your own mug, we will give you free coffee from Espresso Royale.

America Recycles Day
When: Thursday, November 15th 11-4 p.m.
Where: Marsh Plaza.
Description: Boston University will hold a celebration on November 15th to promote recycling and other environmental initiatives on-campus. The celebration will offer raffle prizes, information about various on-campus initiatives and volunteer opportunities, and free coffee for students who bring their own reusable mug.
