The Recycling ProgramWithin the past decade recycling of paper, cans, and bottles has become available in student housing, offices and academic departments throughout campus. We are constantly expanding our program and collaborating on projects with Facilities Management and Planning, the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, the recycling company Save that Stuff, and the new Office of Sustainability. Our goal is to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly campus, with recycling for all!Mission StatementThe mission of Boston University's Recycling Program is to implement a convenient, safe and cost-effective recycling program that is available to as many people as possible. We rely on participation and feedback from faculty, staff and students to continuously expand and improve upon existing programs, as well as to develop new recycling/sustainability initiatives. Since recycling at BU is just one action the institution and its members may take to increase sustainability, we strive to provide additional information about sustainable living so students are aware of how to lessen their environmental impact.AnnouncementsFor more events, check out the Calendar posted 11/13/09
