Booking
Recital Recording
You should begin the process by visiting the College of Fine Arts Scheduling Office. You will book a time for your recital with the Scheduling Office. Once your recital is booked, you will visit our office to pay for a recital recording. The fee is $90.
Payment for a recital recording is due 2 WEEKS prior to the date of the recital. It is crucial that you meet our two week deadline. Meeting this deadline guarantees that we will find an engineer to record your performance. If you do not give us two weeks notice we may not be able to find an engineer for your recital.
If your performance involves tape playback, sound reinforcement, monitoring, performance poetry, smoke machines, laser shows, dangerous props, circus elephants, or anything unusual at all, please tell us at this time.
Additional fees may apply for the use of the Concert Hall's sound system. Feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have regarding the recital recording process.
Recording Sessions
Recording sessions
are available to BU affiliates as well as the general public. To schedule a recording session, contact our office at 617-353-3375 to schedule a recording session. We ask that you give us two weeks notice.
Payment is required on the day of your recording session.
Other Recordings
All other concerts or recitals (generally outside groups) that need to be recorded must be discussed directly with us.
