Boston University Women’s MBA Association

The biggest resource for female MBAs at BU is the Boston University Women’s MBA Association. The goal of this student-run organization is to provide career guidance and support to women currently in the MBA program by:

  • Providing access to professional women leaders who hold positions within different industries, possess a wide range of interests, and have built successful careers.
  • Educating members about topics related to work-life balance, career advancement, and networking.
  • Finding mentors and leadership opportunities within and around the Questrom School of Business and Boston University.
  • Active participation within the community.
  • Establishing a solid relationship among Boston-area students, alumni, faculty, and women, including MBA students from neighboring schools.
  • Uniting men and women in addressing women-related issues in the workplace.


Forte Foundation is an organization whose mission is to substantially increase the number of women business leaders by increasing the flow of women into key educational gateways and business networks.

Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) exists to establish and oversee a network of women’s business centers (WBCs) throughout the United States and its territories.

National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) has a rich history of providing education, networking, and public advocacy to empower its members to achieve career success and financial security. Members are women executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, and others who are committed to NAFE’s mission of advancing women in the workplace.

Catalyst is the leading nonprofit membership organization working globally with businesses and the professions to build inclusive workplaces and expand opportunities for women and business.

Women for Hire is the first and only company devoted to a comprehensive array of recruitment services for women. It offers signature career expos, inspiring speeches and seminars, a popular career-focused magazine, and customized marketing programs.
